And more importantly, could this homemade healthy ice cream recipe taste as good as a Dairy Queen blizzard?

You’ll have to watch to find out.

Here’s how simple this low calorie protein ice cream recipe is

This healthy ice cream recipe is quick and simple to make.

It also uses all natural ingredients, including the natural sweetener, stevia, so no added sugar is needed.

Although I don’t eat cottage cheese any more, the slow releasing protein from the cottage cheese can make it a decent high protein night time snack, if you tolerate dairy well.

Here’s a paleo ice cream recipe.

Instructions
  1. 1. Add everything to a blender and blend for 10-15 seconds.
  2. 2. Portion out the mixture by pouring into 4 separate sealable and freezer proof plastic baggies.
  3. 3. Place the baggies in the freezer for approximately 3 hours. I said 5 hours in the video but if you leave it in the freezer for too long, it'll freeze like a brick. If this happens, you can simply let it defrost for 10-15 minutes before eating.

It’s a similar texture to traditional ice cream.

Although it will help fill your cravings for ice cream, but I have to be honest, it’s no Dairy Queen blizzard.

I have to keep it real.

But, like I said, it still gives you the flavor and is a tasty treat, with a good amount of protein from the cottage cheese and protein powder, and no added sugar.

Once again this is another healthy choice that you can make when it comes to snacking.

So I really hope you’re enjoying these healthy recipes that I’m sharing.
