On today’s vlog episode of Live Lean TV, I’m sharing another scary reason to stop drinking soda, 12 bodyweight exercises to get ripped outside, and a Hollywood bus tour of celebrity homes.
In Live Lean Life Vlog Ep. 012 I share:
I’m back at the track for another bodyweight cardio workout.
While I was there, it was cool to see a high school band going beast mode while doing a fitness bootcamp.
They were in Live Lean mode and killing it.
For this bodyweight cardio workout, I’m going to hit the stairs, as well as do some quick feet work on the football field turf.
Before starting the workout, I tested my arm strength and accuracy to see if I could throw a football into a circle on the 10 yard line, while standing in the bleachers.
Yes, I nailed it.
Remember, it’s important to make your fitness journey fun.
Let’s get it done.

Now it’s about time to go home and get something to eat to fuel up before I take my parents on a Hollywood bus tour to see some celebrity sights.
My parents from Canada are visiting me for first time here in LA.
If you’ve never been to Hollywood or LA, don’t worry, I’ll be taking you as well.
However, before we do that I’m waiting to be picked up by my chauffeur, Jessica and my mom, now known as Nana Gouthro.
They took baby Kyla to our pediatrician for her weight test.
They pediatrician says Kyla needs to gain weight, which she did.
She now weighs a lean 7 pounds and 14 ounces.
We have her on the booby bulk plan since she needs to add fat.
I guess she is just to good at Living Lean.
Once I got home I broke my fast with this Superfood Maca Powder Smoothie recipe that I showed you in last week’s vlog.
For lunch, my parents made chili and Jessica made a salad for a side of greens.
For the last 3 days our kitchen sink was clogged, so we had a plumber snake out the drain.
As a maintenance hack, one thing the plumber recommended was pouring Coca-Cola down the drain to clear out all the junk and build up.
Think about this scary thought.
If a plumber recommends Coca-Cola to eat away at all the junk in your sink drain, just think what this is doing to your throat when you pour it down your esophagus.
This is just another scary reason to stop drinking soda.
Before Jessica poured the Coca-Cola down the sink, I dared her to first take a drink of it.
She politely declined.
Jessica debated between buying diet Coca-Cola or regular Coca-Cola, since she was unsure of which is more effective for unclogging sinks.
As she was pouring it down the drain, you could here the bubbles doing their magic.
When Jessica was at the grocery store with my mom, she told my mom we needed soda.
My mom looked at her confused and said, “soda?”.
Jessica quickly remembered she was Canadian, and had to translate it by saying, “pop”.
Yes, most Canadians call soda “pop”.
She was probably just joking because I’d be surprised if my mom didn’t know what soda was.
If you’re Canadian, let us know if you know what soda means in the comment section below.
It took a while, but we finally rallied the troops together to hit up the Hollywood bus tour.
When you have a baby and a dog, there are so many different things you need to bring, including the BabyBjorn, diapers, and a change of clothes.
Welcome to dad life.
We had a full carload, with me, Jessica, my mom and dad, Kyla, and Bruno.
Before we head down to Hollywood, we first had to drop Bruno off at a doggy day camp, called Club Fido.
Once we got in the car, Kyla was screaming her head off.
She doesn’t usually mind being in the car, she just doesn’t like sitting still at stoplights.
Once we get a green light, and the car starts moving and making turns, she stops crying.
I swear it’s magical.
Once we arrived in Hollywood, I took my parents to the famous Hollywood Walk of Fame.
While we were walking I found an empty star that is just waiting for my name to go on it 😜.
Since we arrived early for the Hollywood bus tour, we decided to go for strawberry margaritas, and a water for Jessica, at a restaurant and hookah lounge called, Secret.
After finishing the drinks, we jumped in the back seat of the Access Hollywood tour bus.
During the bus tour, we were able to get on and off the bus to walk around.
One of my favorite views was seeing the historic Hollywood sign in the Hollywood Hills.
Even though I still haven’t done a pull up on the Hollywood sign yet, I will one day 😂.
While we were walking around, it was my dad duty to carry Kyla in the infant car seat.
To give my forearms and shoulders a rest, I would occasionally set the seat down on the ground.
Anytime my mom saw that, she would say, “Don’t forget the baby”.
This made me think.
Can you imagine if we all got back on the bus and accidentally left Kyla at the Hollywood sign?
During the Hollywood bus tour we saw the following celebrity homes:
In addition to Hollywood, we also drove through Beverly Hills to see a few of the most expensive stores in the world.
It’s hard to tell from looking outside the gate, but Jessica and thought Diddy’s house and Michael Jackson’s house were pretty sweet.
Our Hollywood bus tour driver was really into celebrity culture.
It seemed like that is what her life was all about.
I find it amazing how celebrity obsessed some people are.
To me, celebrities are not that big of a deal.
Of course, if I saw Will Smith, I would fan girl a little bit.

My mom’s answer was Elvis.
Even though we didn’t see him, we did she Elvis’ house.
She was also a little disappointed that she didn’t see Brad Pitt.
However, she was excited to see the guy who truly represents the Brad name best, Brad Gouthro.
Kyla was so good and didn’t cry for the entire two hour bus tour.
Once the tour was over, Jessica fed her.
On the way home we picked up Bruno.
He looked happy to see us.
For dinner we stopped for burritos at Chipotle.
Then we came home and I enjoyed a couple beers with my parents while we watched the Olympics.
After playing with Kyla and Bruno, it was time to call it for the night.
That’s it for the night.
Thanks for hanging out and I’ll see you at the next one.
