When Jessica and I were pregnant with our first baby girl, Kyla, our health care provider recommended we start taking bone broth.
If you’ve never heard of bone broth before, let me tell you why bone broth is good for you.

Jessica found a bone broth recipe online, made a list, then went to the grocery store to pick up the ingredients.
The total cost of the ingredients to make our own bone broth was very expensive.
The ingredients to make homemade bone broth cost us approximately $45!
It’s also very time consuming, as it took us more than 20 hours to make this homemade bone broth recipe.
Lastly, let’s be real, it’s a little bit nasty.
However, after we figured out how to make it, the bone broth did taste good.
Probably not very often.
The reason we won’t be making homemade bone broth often is because:
This is very unfortunate because bone broth is so healthy, and we want to keep taking it.
Fortunately, you can now buy ready to eat bone broth from a carton.
I typically always recommend making food from scratch, rather than eating something from a carton.
Buying the right type of fresh and ready to eat bone broth is one of the exceptions.
Focus on finding bone broth that comes from grass fed beef, not conventional beef.
When the bone broth comes from grass fed beef, it’s much higher in healthy omega3 fats and many other nutrients.
Grass fed beef also shouldn’t have added hormones sometimes found in conventional beef.
