When I first started, I thought to be healthy, you could only eat chicken and broccoli.

Although not exciting, to me, it was worth getting six pack abs.

As time passed, I finally realized Live Lean is not about eating the same boring foods everyday.

6 Foods You Should Be Eating Every Day

Thank the Live Lean gods for that.

Unfortunately, many people are not aware of this, as they still think dieting requires eating nothing but boring and tasteless foods, for the rest of their lives.

We all know how that ends

They crash diet for the first week, then throw up their hands in mercy the following week, and book a first class ticket on the sugar carb express.

why sugar makes us fat

Well I’m here to tell you, even when eating healthy, you can eat a variety of foods that are delicious.

You may even be shocked that these delicious foods are Live Lean approved.

Today’s coconut protein balls recipe will be one of those shockingly healthy and delicious foods.

So do yourself a big favor and try this quick and easy snacks recipe.

Check out how easy this healthy snack recipe is to make.

Recipe notes:

From a nutritional profile, macadamia nuts are one of the healthiest nuts, due to the healthy omega 3 to omega 6 fatty acid ratio.

Best Foods High In Omega 3 Fatty Acids

They are also high in monounsaturated fats, which may help increase healthy HDL cholesterol, while lowering unhealthy LDL cholesterol.

Even though I prefer this combination of ingredients, feel free to add dark chocolate chips, cinnamon, or any other ingredient you want.

Now it’s time for the best part of cooking, it’s time to give them a taste.
