On today’s episode of Live Lean TV I’m showing you how to put together one of my delicious and easy healthy slow cooker recipes.

Easy Healthy Slow Cooker Recipes

If you own a slow cooker, but it’s just collecting dust on your shelf, it’s time to start using your slow cooker more often.

The reason is simple.

The slow cooker makes absolutely delicious meals that are so quick and easy to prepare.

And when I say prepare, I literally mean, all you have to do is throw these simple ingredients into a pot, close the lid, turn the switch to cook, then go on with your business for the day.

Set it and forget it

Since this recipe is slow cooked for 6-7 hours, you can prepare this slow cooker meal in the morning, and then go to work.

When you come back from work, the aromas in your house will be mouth watering.

All that’s left to do is, simply open the lid, add the food to your plate, and you are eating a healthy and delicious meal.

How to make a pork tenderloin slow cooker recipe

Ingredients
  • 3 lbs pork tenderloin
  • 24 oz tomato sauce (with olive oil, not soybean oil)
  • 2 sliced Zucchini
  • 1 head cauliflower (chopped)
  • 2 tbsp dried basil

Ingredients
  • 3 lbs pork tenderloin
  • 24 oz tomato sauce (with olive oil, not soybean oil)
  • 2 sliced Zucchini
  • 1 head cauliflower (chopped)
  • 2 tbsp dried basil
Slow Cooker Pork
Instructions
  1. Add the pork tenderloin to your slow cooker.
  2. Add in a healthy olive oil based tomato sauce that uses all natural ingredients. Make sure your tomato sauce does not contain soybean oil.
  3. Add 2 sliced zucchinis and a head of chopped cauliflower. However, feel free to use any of your favorite chopped vegetables.
  4. Add 2 tbsp of basil to give it an incredible flavor.
  5. Stir it up to make sure the tomato sauce is covering all the ingredients so it doesn't get dried out during the slow cooking process.
  6. Add the top to the slow cooker, set the timer for 6 hours, and you're done.

Again, the best part of the slow cooker is the aroma from the food in your house, when you walk in the front door, after a long day at the office.

  1. I love slow cooker meals in the fall and winter. It is fabulous to come home after a long day and have the house smelling so fabulous. This one looks great and I am trying to find ways to add more veggies to my diet so I am going to have to try it for sure.
