On today’s episode of Live Lean TV, I’m showing you how to make a vegetable protein smoothie and sharing why it can be a quick last minute dinner recipe.
Ok, so here’s the deal.
You finally get home after a long day of being hassled by your boss and you’re starving.
But you suddenly realize you didn’t take anything out for dinner, so there is nothing ready to eat.
How many times do you forget to defrost your steak, chicken breast, or fish?
This happens to me all the time.
Here is my quick go-to trick to ensure you still get in your protein and vegetables, when nothing is ready to go for dinner.
So what I want you to do is go to your fridge and grab some hot sauce.
If you don’t have hot sauce, get it during your next grocery trip.
Hot sauce makes anything taste better.
Next, go to your freezer and get yourself some frozen vegetables.
Once again, if you don’t have frozen vegetables, add those to your grocery list.
Now check out the instructions below to see how we’re what we’re going to make a vegetable protein smoothie, using protein powder.
Here is my preferred vanilla egg white protein powder.
Or if you like whey protein, try this vanilla whey isolate protein powder.

Yes, we’re adding vegetables to this smoothie, not fruit.
This is a great way to add more vegetables into your diet, without even tasting them.
Here’s how it’s done.

So there you have it.
When you get home from work and have nothing else available to eat, add some protein, vegetables, and hot sauce to a blender.
Pour it into a glass and in just 30 seconds, you have a meal.
Let’s see how it tastes.
Whoa!
That hot sauce gives it a kick, but it tastes great.
I’m not just saying that.
Honestly, give it a try.
Damn that’s good!
A quick, simple, and easy recipe to put together that only took 30 seconds.
Obviously I’d rather you have steamed vegetables and chicken or steak, but when you need it, go with this vegetable protein smoothie recipe.
So there is just another trick to Live Lean, when you’re on the go, or if you come home, you’re tired, and there’s no food prepared.
Alright that’s it for me, I’m going to cut this off and finish this vegetable protein smoothie.

Love Gouthro’s cameo!

I just clued in a few months ago as well. Haven’t looked back since.
You make every thing sound super delicious!
Love this! I usually prep my meals but there are some nights when I just don’t feel like cooking. This is perfect for those nights.
