On today’s episode of Live Lean TV, I’m taking you through a day in the life of a fitness YouTuber vlog, while visiting Bermuda.
This type of vlog content is something I would normally upload to my second vlog style Brad Gouthro TV YouTube Channel (BGTV).
In our vlogs, I take you through the day in the life of me and Jess.
You also get a little more insight into how we Live Lean behind the scenes, while still living life and having fun.
However, since a lot of you don’t know about my personal vlog channel, I’m sharing it on my Live Lean TV YouTube channel to give you a little taste of the type of episodes you’ll get on BGTV.

With that said, here’s the BGTV episode of me while visiting Bermuda.
All right, my bags are packed.
Over the next couple of days, I’m flying out of Toronto to visit my brother in another city and country.
Do you want to come to Bermuda with me?
Let’s go.
Unfortunately when I landed in Bermuda, it was windy and raining out, so I spent most of the day inside hanging out with my brother.
At night, I took him out for a workout by his beautiful pool during the intermission of the hockey game.
We may have had one or two adult beverages while we were doing that.
Good idea 😐.
Here was the workout.
Here’s how this descending ladder bodyweight workout circuit was structured.
Complete exercises A1-A3 as a circuit, starting at 10 reps, then pyramid all the way down to 1 rep.

Note: since we did the workout outside, we used a 3-4 foot ledge to complete the box jumps. As mentioned, we may have had 1-2 adult beverages while we were doing it, so the next day, the ledge looked higher than what I remembered it.

I don’t know why, but it seems like every time I come to Bermuda, it’s raining out.
Hopefully it will stop soon since I want to get down to the waterfront to film a new workout challenge for you on my other Live Lean TV YouTube channel.

Since I’m staying at my brother’s awesome place for the next couple days, it’s a bonus that I have access to cook in his kitchen.
For today’s breakfast, I’m having an egg scramble which includes:
Simply cook everything in coconut oil and enjoy.
While I get this food into my stomach, I’m going to finish up some computer work.
After that, I’ll go out to show you around sunny Bermuda.
All right, let’s get this beautiful day started.
It’s time to head out to the Barr’s Bay Park waterfront to shoot a workout video for my Live Lean TV YouTube channel.
As I walk to the waterfront, let me share a quick story.
When visiting Bermuda, you always have to be careful when you’re walking and crossing the streets, since the cars drive on the other side of the road.
I learned this from experience.
Close to my brother’s place, there is a doozy of a sharp corner on a narrow road, with no sidewalks.
One time, my brother and I were walking around the corner and we almost got clipped by a biker.
Since the streets are a tight fit, especially when cars are around, you have to be really careful walking the streets here.
With that said, I see some people jogging a head of me, so I’m going to run down the hill to see if I can catch up to them.
Front Street is one of the main busy thoroughfares filled with cars and bikes in Bermuda.
It’s cool that bikes and scooters are how the majority of people get around the city.
On the way, it was also cool to see Bacardi’s beautiful global headquarters building.
They have one of the nicest lawns and water fountains that I’ve ever seen.
Even though I don’t usually drink rum, I think I would enjoy going for a nice little drink there.
Before hitting the waterfront park to film the workout, I first need to stop at a place called Buzz, to get a coffee and water.
Based on the store’s sign:
Positive Thinking * Healthy Living
I think this is my kind of place.
After I got the coffee and water, I realized I forgot my bag with the jump rope and other things needed for my workout.
So, rather than making a big deal about it, there’s only one thing to do.
It’s time to go back up the hill to get the bag.
All right, let’s try this again.
Okay, before starting the workout, I just want to share another funny thing that happened while I was walking on the street.
Since I’ve lived in New York City and Toronto, I’m used to the streets being packed with people walking.
Based on this, I always say when you’re walking on busy streets, stay to the right because when you drive on the road, you usually drive on the right side of the road.
But as I mentioned earlier, here in Bermuda, you drive on the left side of the street.
So when I was walking on the street, I swerved to the right, but a group of ladies walking towards me shifted to the same side.
This made me think:
Wait a minute, my sidewalk etiquette must be backwards here.
In other words, I’m breaking my own damn rules.
Go figure.
Note to Jess: if you’re wondering what I want for Christmas, I want one of these boats.
I’ve been a good boy.
Okay, to the workout, we go.

As I do after most workouts, it’s time to recover with a post workout protein shake.

For the long time Live Lean viewers, based on the background, you may recognize where I am right now.
I was in this exact spot, here in Bermuda, two years ago, when I shared the truth about my divorce.
During this time, I was going through the most difficult time of my life.
I was also in the same situation when I was in Myrtle Beach, where I posted this picture on my @BradGouthro Instagram page.
Now here I am two years later, but things with my business, my personal life, and pretty much every other area of my life has made a total 180 degree turn from where it was then.
The key is to never give up on your dreams.
Even though times may be tough, you can always get through it, when you keep working at it.

I’ve been watching your videos for around a year and a half now and really
enjoy them. Especially your food prep and tabata videos! I was wondering
how much time you and Jessica spend working out every day and how many days
a week to maintain your lean physique’s? I thought it would be motivating
and encouraging to find out. I typically eat pretty clean but I feel like I
don’t have enough time to workout to attain a sexy lean body.
