On today’s vlog episode of Live Lean TV, we’re sharing our family workout at the park, as well as how I make my morning greens drink.
In Live Lean Life Vlog Ep. 047 I share:
Welcome back to another morning in the Live Lean kitchen.
I’m getting ready to go to the office, but before I do that, I always have my morning AG1 greens drink.
It’s so quick and easy to make.
You honestly don’t even need a blender, however since my blender is easily accessible, I just mix it up in there.
However, if you have a shaker cup, simply add the greens powder to some water, then shake.
After a few seconds of mixing, complete the “perfect pour” by filling up your glass to the rim.
That’s the perfect pour.
As you can tell, I’ve done this once or twice before.
Within seconds I have my healthy energizing and immunity boosting greens drink for total body health.
It tastes so smooth.
I always drink my greens drink in the morning on an empty stomach.
This gets me going and pumped for the day.
If you want to get yourself some, here’s a link to try AG1 greens powder.
It’s highly recommended and Live Lean approved.
This morning we made a few 30 minute phone calls with our #60MinuteSwag contest winners.
One of our calls was with Katie.
Big shout out to her, because she’s crushing it.
During the call, Kate was telling us her story and we helped her out with some tips.
We love and have so much fun meeting and connecting with you guys in real life, not just on YouTube.
These FaceTime calls almost feels like real life and in person.
If you want to join in on the #60MinuteSwag contest, you have to be following me on my Instagram @BradGouthro.
Remember to turn the notifications on as well.
After the calls I went to the gym for a quick workout comprised of the following exercises:
After cleaning Kyla up in the bath, we went to the Montgomery-Gibbs Executive Airport in San Diego to take her up for her first private flight.
Even though she was sleeping when we arrived, she was super excited when she woke up in an airplane.
So far Kyla’s been on two flights.
When we flew to Colorado for Christmas, she did really good on the flight to Colorado, however on the way back she got a little fussy.
So now we’re going to test her out in Grandpa’s private plane for a short trip to Carlsbad.
I think she’s going to be really, really good on this one.
Kyla did pretty good on the flight.
Once we arrived in Carlsbad, she was loving life!
Especially since she felt fancy sitting in her high chair at the restaurant.
It’s been a big day of firsts for her.
This was her first attempt at sitting in a high chair and first private flight.
It’s working out well.
Not only is she acting fancy, but she’s also acting all grown up now.
After the flight, we were planning on going to the park for a family workout to some pull ups and parallel bar dips.
However, that plan was spoiled because the park was hosting the “Best Coast Beer Fest”.
How did I not know that it’s Beer Fest?
I’m losing my touch.
So rather than pull ups and dips, Jessica and I decided do the following exercises, while wearing Kyla in the Babybjorn, on the waterfront pathway:
Wearing Kyla on the front of our body in the Babybjorn added approximately 15 pounds during a few of the exercises.
This requires a strong core to keep your back straight and chest up.
Kyla was laughing the whole time since she loves bouncing.
We also did the following jump rope exercises, without Kyla:
During Jessica’s first set of double unders, I had to keep reminding her to land softly, because it felt like she was causing an earthquake 😂.
She did better on her second set.
Having to workout with a beautiful waterfront sunset view is the worst 😝.
As we were walking home, I decided to “gently” jog up the San Diego Convention Stairs with Kyla.
Jessica then did her set with Kyla.
Finally Bruno had his turn running up the stairs.
He is so full of energy and such a healthy dog.
After the workout we asked Kyla what her #1 tip is to Live Lean as a baby.
Her response was, “Having fit parents helps”.
It was so beautiful working out with the family during the sunset.
After we were done, the moon also came out to play.
San Diego, you are so beautiful.
Not as beautiful as my wife and baby, though.
That hard workout made us hungry, so it’s time to get some food.
