Elbow mobility exercise to reduce elbow pain and fix computer elbow

Live Lean Nation, a few weeks ago, I posted a blog with a simple exercise to improve wrist flexibility and mobility.

On today’s exercise demonstration, I’m showing you a video tutorial on a simple elbow mobility exercise to fix “computer elbow”.

Targeted Area: the Elbow Joint

Yes, computer elbow is now a thing, and the reason is pretty self-explanatory.

When you’re working in front of a computer all day, your elbows are put in a bent position.This unnatural position, for extended periods of time, can inhibit the blood flow and circulation of synovial fluid through the elbow joint.

Over time this can lead to what’s now being called computer elbow.

So in today’s video, I’m showing you an elbow mobility exercise to help increase the mobility of your elbow joint and fix computer elbow.

How To Fix Computer Elbow:

To get started:

  1. Extend your arm straight out in front of your body, with the elbow pit facing the sky, and your fist clenched, facing the floor.
  2. Perform elbow circles by locking down your upper arm and elbow, then bend your elbow, while rotating your forearm and hand under your chin.
  3. Fully extend the elbow back to the beginning position.
  4. Focus on keeping the elbow pit facing the sky throughout the elbow rotation.
  5. Complete 30 seconds of elbow rotations with one arm, then switch sides and repeat.
  6. Try doing this once in the morning as well as once at night.

This simple exercise can help fix computer elbow by increasing the blood flow and circulation of synovial fluids.
