3 simple steps to fix your posture in just 30 seconds

Live Lean Nation, on today’s exercise demonstration, I’m showing you a video tutorial on how to improve shoulder mobility and fix your posture in 3 steps.

Over the past few posts, I’ve shared mobility exercises for the wrists, elbows, and back.

It’s now time to fix your posture.

Lets be real, if you’re sitting in front of a computer all day, you may notice your shoulders are starting to roll forward.

It’s time to fix your posture with this simple 30 second shoulder mobility exercise.

When working out, I often refer to this posture as getting your shoulders in “set position”.

Targeted Muscle: Shoulders

This shoulder mobility exercise is a simple movement that can be done anywhere at any time.

It doesn’t require any equipment and only takes 30 seconds.

How to fix your posture in 3 steps:

To get started:

  1. With your arms extended behind your back, interlock your hands together with both index fingers straight and your thumbs pointing up (similar to creating a gun with your hands). Then elevate your shoulders towards your ears.
  2. Now retract your shoulders back towards the wall behind you.
  3. Finally, pull your shoulders down and hold for 30 seconds, keeping your shoulders back and down. By doing this, you should notice your chest becoming more upright. You’ll also begin to feel your shoulders slowly loosening up.

Be mindful of your posture throughout the day.

Whenever you notice your shoulders are rolled forward, simply take 30 seconds and go through these 3 quick steps.
