what about a sausage gravy to go with it any ideal
I “tried” to make these yesterday without coconut flour… FAIL! I just did one full cup of almond flour intead… didn’t work… very soupy when I added the eggs. Went to the store and remade them, and they came out great!
I don’t eat eggs. What do you recommend as a vegetarian egg substitute for baking? Thanks
Try xanthan gum (a binding agent).
Thanks Brad.. Will try it. BTW, just bought some coconut oil and almond flour yesterday..time to decrease the wheat!
Brad,
I was just looking to xanthan gum and noticed that it is sugar based and similar to corn syrup/corn starch..
Any thoughts on apple sauce, mashed bananas, or flaxseed meal and water as binders?
Thanks,
Sachin Parekh, MD
Not sure, test them out and let me know how they work!
Do you happen to know how much liquid egg whites equals 6 egg whites….I hate to waste my yolks…
