Healthy Candy Cane Protein Shake Recipe Notes:

  • Using canned coconut milk will make this protein shake really creamy.
  • Add a mixture of berries of your choice.
  • You can use fresh bananas, but to add even more creaminess to this protein shake, we prefer to use frozen bananas.
  • For muscle building protein, we used a vanilla egg white protein powder from EarthNutri (use discount code: LiveLeanTV25 to save 25% off)
  • To give this protein shake the peppermint candy cane flavor, we’re using a peppermint extract.
  • You will have to experiment with how much peppermint extract to add since some brands are more powerful than others. Based on the brand, you may need to add more or less to this recipe.
  • If you don’t really care about the presentation, the coconut flakes are optional.
  • You can also add a candy cane to the glass to take a photo, but it’s not for eating 😉.

  1. Will definitely have to try this but with Young Living Peppermint Essential
Oil instead of peppermint extract which is full of alcohol.

  2. Hi Brad & Jessica, love the candy cane smoothie idea. I have loads of
smoothie videos myself & am a great believer in them, but never heard of
putting peppermint extract in them. Mint is my fave flavour, so I must give
it a whirl! Merry Christmas & a happy new year to you both. Love Lou x
