On today’s vlog episode of Live Lean TV, I’m sharing a day in my life including an honest Thrive Market review of healthy snacks, my workout, and going to the pumpkin patch with the family.
In Live Lean Life Vlog Ep. 023 I share:
On Live Lean Life vlog episode 023, I shared the process of placing my healthy snacks order from Thrive Market.
Well, within 4 days, our food has arrived.
To date, our experience with Thrive Market has been on point.
As busy parents, we love getting food delivered directly to our door.
Since Jessica and I are both entrepreneurs, we honestly don’t have as much time to go grocery shopping.
I’m sure you feel the same way.
That’s why we like getting our healthy snack foods delivered right to our door from Thrive Market.
Here’s what was inside the delivery box:
After receiving our Thrive Market order a few days ago, we’ve now had the chance to try all the items.
Here is an honest Thrive Market review recapping all of the of healthy snacks from our order.
This honest review will include staple food items that we plan on repurchasing, as well as few items that we definitely will not be buying again.
The first item on the list was Primal Kitchen Chipotle Lime Mayo With Avocado Oil.
It was actually really good.
After a few days, the container was half empty, since I’ve been adding approximately 1 tbsp to my eggs.
It’s also great as a condiment, as we’ve been adding it to our burgers.
This is going to be a reorder.
Coconut aminos is an item you don’t use everyday.
It’s a good alternative to soy sauce.
We’ve been adding it to our stir-fry meals.
This is going to be a reorder, however since it is not an everyday food staple, we won’t have to order it very often.
I add these cacao nibs to my Superfood Maca Powder Smoothie Recipe every single day.
This is going to be a reorder.
You know we love our coconut oil.
I add it to make my coconut oil coffee recipe.
This is going to be a reorder.
These Jilz Gluten Free Mediterranean Crackerz are delicious.
Jessica really likes them too.
They have tons of flavor from the herbs, a great aftertaste, and the actual consistency of a cracker.
When you eat it, you think you are eating a regular cracker, not a “health cracker” that tastes like cardboard.
10 crackers only contains 7 grams of carbohydrates, and there is no sugars.
These crackers are really good and definitely going to be a reorder.
Next up is the Julian Bakery Paleo Pizza Crust.
We were going to go out for pizza on Saturday night, however we decided to use this paleo pizza crust to make pizza at home.
We used the following pizza ingredients:
The pizza crust made 6 pieces, which meant I got 4 pieces and Jessica got 2 pieces.
When it comes to pizza, my rule is I get as many pieces as I can fit on your plate.
Since I had a small plate, I could only fit 3 pieces of pizza, however I bent the rules this time and allowed stacking.
While Kyla was sleeping on Jessica on the bean bag chair, I delivered two slices of pizza to her.
Jessica’s unbiased opinion, “I’m impressed with that crust.”
After I gave it a taste, I agreed, the pizza gets a passing grade.
This was delicious and was probably Jessica’s favorite item from the order.
Score one for the pizza crust.
That is another win from our Thrive Market order.
This is going to be a reorder.
We already ate all the Julian Bakery Paleo Wraps.
This is going to be a reorder.
With all those reorders, we did have two non-reorders.
The first non-reorder is the Wonderfully Raw Dill Pickle Snip Chips.
I love my dill pickle potato chip.
However in my opinion, this was not a dill pickle flavor.
They were kind of sweet tasting because one of the main ingredients is coconut.
We also found they were very crumbly.
Since the product name says chips, you expect it to be a chip, however it was more like a crumbly coconut flavor.
This is not going to be a reorder.
The other non-reorder food item was the turkey jerky.
The turkey jerky was okay, but it was little bit salty for my liking.
Based on the expensive price, there was also a tiny amount in the package.
This is not going to be a reorder.
To recap, the majority of the item were good.
We are going to keep reordering the first 7 food items from Thrive Market, as well as trying some new healthy snack items.

I’m back for another workout at the Fit Athletic Club gym in downtown San Diego.
My warm up included mobility movements to lubricate the joints and get the blood flow pumping, as well as an explosive movement to get my central nervous system primed and ready to rock the workout.
When you start getting older, it’s important to treat your body better by allocating more time to mobility work.
This is why I created my 10 minute Live Lean Mobility follow along video program.
I’ve been focusing a lot more of my time on mobility and flexibility training to maintain my athleticism.
Mobility is one of the keys to maintaining your health over the long term, so make sure you are doing it as well.
The Walking Knee Hug To Spiderman Lunge With Overhead Reach And Hip Lift is an excellent dynamic warm up mobility exercise that warms up your entire body including your hips, hamstrings, quadriceps, glutes, back, and shoulders.
To get started:
The 10 Meter 4 Point Crouch Start Drill is an example of an explosive movement that can be used to prime and fire up the central nervous system before a strength workout.
To get started:
I also completed the following two explosive exercises in superset format.
The Heavy Bag Side Kick is another athletic cardio based movement to reduce stress and spike your heart rate.
I use a heavy bag, but if you don’t have access to one, you can kick the air.
To get started:
The Kettlebell Swing is a fantastic total body exercise that primarily targets the hamstrings, glutes, and lower back.
The power to move the kettlebell is generated through the hips, the shoulders just guide the kettlebell during the swing.
To get started:
Since this was Kyla and Bruno’s first halloween, we had to do “the parent thing” and take them to the pumpkin patch for some photos and to pick out our pumpkin.
Keeping with the pumpkin patch theme, Jessica and I were both rocking the plaid.
To be honest, it seemed like everyone in the pumpkin patch was in plaid.
Based on the farm land scenery, this pumpkin patch was definitely not in the city.
Kyla had a good sleep in the car, however once we arrived, she had a little poop that needed to be taken care of.
After changing her into a clean diaper, we were all ready to see the pumpkin patch, until I saw the sign that said “Sorry No Dogs Allowed”.
Jessica and Kyla were just going to go in on their own, however I gave the owner a little bit of the Gouthro charm and talked him into letting Bruno in.
Now we can get that awesome family pumpkin patch photo and pick out our beautiful pumpkin.
“It’s a beaut Clark, it’s a beaut.”
