On today’s episode of Live Lean TV, we’re answering a viewer question who asked, how do you stay motivated as a fitness coach for over 14 years?
Today’s viewer question is from #AskLiveLeanTV Ep. 020.
Here’s today’s viewer question:
sandraoledan from Snapchat says:
Hi Brad, when giving advice to clients gets repetitive, what keeps you motivated as a health and fitness coach?
Brad: Good question.
Jess: Yeah, I like that one.
Brad: There are not many times when I get asked a question that I haven’t been asked before.
This may be one of those questions that I have not have been asked before.
As a health and fitness coach, you have to remember why you are in this.
You’re in this to help people.
When it comes to giving repetitive advice, you have to understand that if you put out a video, it doesn’t mean every single one of your followers has watched it.
Or maybe the person just started following you.
I am so blessed and so grateful to be in this position where I actually have a following who listens to what I say, and when they apply it, it’s changing their lives.
I don’t take that for granted.
Even though I’ll get asked the same question on how to lose belly fat 50 million times, if it’s getting them results, and it’s helping them get past the barriers they’re seeing in their life, it’s worth it.
I still remember the impact fitness and health had on my life when I began to change my lifestyle.
Therefore, I don’t take it for granted, and I’m very honored that you are asking me your questions.
Jess: Yeah, since we upload a lot of new videos, not everyone wants to dig through our 2009 videos to see what we said before.
Plus, things in health and fitness do change, so we’re always continuing to learn, grow, and change the way we do things, and advice our followers.
For example, sometimes answers do change, so that’s why we keep answering the same questions over and over, without being annoyed by it.
Brad: We’re lifelong students.
Therefore, what you saw me say in a 2012 video, may have changed today.
Even though people may think we changed our stance on certain topics, because we’re jumping on the bandwagon, what you should be saying is congratulations for actually continuing your education and learning and experimenting and figuring things out.
I’m going to say it right now, my stance on the topics I discuss today’s podcast, could change in 3 years.
The reason for this is because in the world of health and fitness, new studies are always coming out.
Therefore you always have to be staying on top of the information that’s out there.
However, I will say this one thing.
If you do have questions, and you want to find it out for yourself, go to liveleantv.com/blog, and in the search bar, type in whatever question you have.
