I’m a 140 pound, 5’4″ female. How much water would you suggest I drink to aid in weight loss?

How Much Water Should I Drink Per Day For Weight Loss?

Brad: The quick calculation for you to do is take half your body weight in pounds.

That’s how many ounces of water you should drink per day.

Since you said you are 140 pounds, half your body weight in pounds would be 70 ounces of water a day.

Here are 5 Ways To Drink More Water.

Jess: If you’re a similar size to me, I usually recommend most females drink 2-3 liters of water a day.

Brad: I drink 3-4 liters of water a day.

Jess: Yeah, this makes sense for guys who are bigger.

Brad: It also depends on what climate you’re in.

If you’re in a hot climate, and you are sweating more, you would need to drink more water. eating more.

However, the general level of water consumption is half your body weight in ounces.

Jess: Instead of worrying about how many ounces or liters you’re getting, just try to drink as much water as possible.

A lot of people just forget to drink water throughout the day.

If you make yourself obsessed about drinking water, it then feels like a chore.

One habit that really helps is when you wake up in the morning, get the biggest cup you have in the house, fill it up to the top, then chug the full glass, first thing in the morning.

That will really kickstart your water gains throughout the day.
