How To Do A Kettlebell Deadlift Correctly

The Kettlebell Deadlift is a great exercise to primarily target the glutes and hamstrings.

To get started:

  1. Place a kettlebell on the floor between your feet.
  2. While standing with your feet hip width apart, push your hips back, bend your knees, and squat down, maintaining a flat back, as your grab the handle of kettlebell with both hands, arms fully extended in front of you.
  3. To pick up the kettlebell, contract your abs, press your feet through the floor, and keep your arms extended down in front of your body.
  4. As you stand up, thrust your hips forward to really contract and engage your glutes and hamstrings.
  5. Repeat.
