The Kneeling Medicine Ball Torso Rotation is a great rotational core exercise for the obliques.

To get started:

  1. Kneel down with both knees bent and sit back on your heels with your toes pressed into the ground.
  2. Hold a medicine ball in front of you then quickly twist to one side, set the ball down on the ground behind you, slowly roll it, then twist to the opposite side and pick up the ball.
  3. Continue doing that rotational movement for the indicated reps in your program.
