How To Do A Medicine Ball Feet Walkout Correctly

The Medicine Ball Feet Walkout is a fantastic core exercise that also hits your shoulders, chest, and triceps.

Think of this exercise as a half inchworm, or the opposite of the hand walkout, where only your feet move, while your hands are fixed.

To get started:

  1. Place a medicine ball on the floor, then with a shoulder width stance, knees slightly bent to maintain a flat back, bend over and with your arms extended, place both of your hands on the medicine ball.
  2. At this point, your hands should be below your shoulders.
  3. Next, while keeping your hands and the medicine ball stationary, slowly walk your feet back away from the medicine ball a few inches at a time, using small baby steps until your body forms a straight line from heels to your head, similar to a straight arm plank position, and then hold a 1-2 seconds.
  4. Walk your feet back to the beginning position, and repeat.
