How To Do A Medicine Ball Sumo Squat With Twist Correctly

The Medicine Ball Sumo Squat With Twist is a total body exercise that primarily targets your hamstrings, glutes, quadriceps, and overall core, including your obliques.

To get started:

  1. While standing with a wide sumo squat stance, toes pointed out at 45 degrees, hold a medicine ball with your arms extended towards the floor.
  2. Bend your knees to squat down into a half squat, then press your feet through the ground to stand back up, thrust your hips forward, then twist your torso to one side with your arms extended with the medicine ball at shoulder level.
  3. Complete another squat while moving the medicine ball back in front of you, then complete another twist to the other side.
  4. Repeat.
