How To Do A Neutral Grip Dumbbell Flat Bench Press Exercise Demonstration Video and Guide

The Neutral Grip Dumbbell Flat Bench Press is a great chest building exercise that takes some of the pressure off your shoulder joints.

To get started:

  1. Lie down with your back on a flat bench, holding a pair of dumbbells by the sides of your chest, with a palms facing in neutral grip.
  2. Press your feet into the ground, your back into the bench, and contract your chest to press the dumbbells up so your arms are straight with the dumbbells over your chest.
  3. Under control, lower the weights back to the sides of your chest, then press them back up.
  4. Repeat.
