How To Do A Plyometric Pull Up Exercise Video Demonstration and Guide

The Plyometric Pull Up is a great way to add explosiveness to the traditional pull up that targets the muscles in the back.

To get started:

  1. Grasp the handles of pull up bar with a palms facing away grip, just outside shoulder width, and hang at arms length.
  2. Contract your core and lats and explosively pull your chest to the bar, then let go of the bar to hoist your body up higher.
  3. Catch the bar on the way back down and lower your body back to the starting position with fully extended arms.
  4. Repeat.
