How To Do A Medicine Ball Speed Skater With Reach Correctly

The Medicine Ball Speed Skater With Reach is an excellent plyometric exercise that adds extra resistance to further rev up your heart rate and improve your balance, agility, and coordination.

To get started:

  1. With your feet together, hold a medicine ball at chest level, then with your outside leg, jump to the opposite side and land on your opposite leg.
  2. As you land, bend the knee of the planted foot and bend at the waist to reach the medicine ball down to touch the floor on the outside of the foot.
  3. Stick the position, then stand up straight and repeat the jump to the other side repeating the reach by tapping the medicine ball on the outside of your other foot.
  4. Repeat.
