How To Do A Squat Depth Jump Correctly

The Squat Depth Jump is an awesome plyometric exercise to improve leg power and explosiveness in your quadricepshamstrings, and glutes.

To get started:

  1. Stand on top of a box or step that is 2 feet off the ground.
  2. Place your feet close to the edge of the box, then get into a quarter squat position by slightly bending at the hips and knees.
  3. Hop off the edge of the box, cushion the knees and land softly by dipping into a quarter squat position, then immediately explode up by jumping into the air and reaching your arms as high as you can.
  4. Step back up on the box and repeat.
