How To Do An EZ Bar Biceps Strict Curl Against A Wall Correctly

The standing EZ bar biceps strict curl against a wall is a great isolation exercise for the long head of the biceps.

Positioning your body against a wall eliminates any unwanted momentum, which ensures your biceps do all the work.

To get started:

  1. While holding an EZ bar by your sides, with a shoulder width underhand grip, stand with your butt, back, and head flat against a wall, with your feet 6 inches from the wall, shoulder width apart.
  2. Contract your biceps and bend your elbows to curl the EZ bar towards your shoulders, ensuring you keep your elbows stationary, and your upper body is against the wall at all times.
  3. Under control, reverse the movement by slowly lowering the EZ bar to extend your arms and repeat.
