How To Do A Swiss Ball Hand Walk Straight Arm Plank Correctly

The Swiss Ball Hand Walk Straight Arm Plank is a challenging core strengthening exercise.

To get started:

  1. Place your hands on the floor shoulder width apart, then place both legs on top of a swiss ball.
  2. Position your legs so the front of your calves are on top of the swiss ball, and contract your core and glutes to maintain a flat back.
  3. While maintaining a tight core and glutes, walk your hands out, keeping them below your shoulders, until you’re in a straight arm plank position, with your feet on top of the swiss ball.
  4. Hold the plank position for 5 seconds, then walk your hands back, and allow the swiss ball to roll up back up your calves to move back to the starting position.
  5. Repeat.
