Full Day Of Healthy Meals While Traveling

On today’s episode of Live Lean TV, I’m sharing what I eat in a day while traveling, to stay lean and healthy.

You’ve been asking me for this for a while.

Here’s a full day of my meals while traveling on a trip to New York City.

That’s right, I vlogged every single meal that I ate throughout the day.

  • 4 of the meals I ate out
  • 2 of the meals at home where I was staying

I’ll also share which meals were considered a win or a fail, as well as what to look out for when you’re eating out on the road.

Let’s get into it.

What I Eat In A Day While Traveling To Stay Lean And Healthy

Here’s what I ate for a full day, while traveling.

Meal #1 Eating Out: Vegetable Egg Omelet

What I Eat In A Day While Traveling

For my breakfast on the go, I ordered a vegetable egg omelet with broccoli, green bell peppers, and spinach from Cafe Metro.

I was missing my hot sauce since this meal was a little bit dry.

Grade: Fail.

Notes: From a nutrition perspective, I can’t complain about this meal.

However from a taste perspective, it received a failing grade.

Meal #2 Homemade Post Workout Meal: Sweet Potato Pancakes

What I Eat In A Day While Traveling

Oh man.

My baby is good to me.

I call this bad boy, sweet potato pancakes.

The main ingredients are:

  • sweet potatoes
  • banana
  • chia seeds
  • eggs
  • blueberries
  • almond butter

Here’s the full sweet potato pancakes recipe.

Before I even ate it, I was yelling, damn that’s good!

Grade: Win.

Notes: Who needs flour, sugar, and artificial syrup when you can make delicious and fluffy pancakes like this.

This is proof that you do not need those unhealthy ingredients when you’re Living Lean.

Thanks to my boo Jessica for making it, and helping me fill my muscles.

Putting the right types of healthy foods into your mouth is how you reveal a set of ripped abs.

Remember, you have to eat to grow.

So if you want to unveil a set of ripped abs, eat food like this, drink water, and complete your Live Lean workouts.

Meal #3: Homemade Apple Slices With Almond Butter And Cinnamon

Almond Butter & Apple Cinnamon

Wow.

It’s Live Lean snack time.

Grade: Win.

Notes: The best part is the cinnamon sprinkles.

Meal #4 Eating Out: Turkey, Vegetables, And Hot Sauce

Turkey & Veggies

Nature Works is our go to spot in New York for good clean food.

They call this meal the “Lean And Ripped”.

Jessica ordered the “Ultimate Plate”.

Grade: Win.

Notes: If you’re in New York City, go check them out.

Meal #5 Eating Out: Steak, Salad, And Nuts

Steak Salad

Damn that was good!

Even though I was trying to vlog what I eat in a day while traveling, as you can see, I forgot to vlog this meal.

We ate at a restaurant called Just Salad.

It’s just like a fast food restaurant, but it’s a salad bar.

All the ingredients are good for you.

To order, you go up to the salad bar and pick which greens, vegetables, and protein you want.

Grade: Win.

Notes: This is another easy example of a healthy option when you are eating out.

Skip the McDonald’s or Wendy’s and go for fast food at a salad bar.

Meal #6 Eating Out: Sushi Made With Fish, Rice, Vegetables, And A Secret Sauce

Sushi

After a long day, we enjoyed a little bit of sushi for dinner at a restaurant called Ajisai Japanese Fusion.

The sushi in the photo is called, “Sweet Heart”.

It was an amazing presentation.

We also had other sushi rolls called the “Spicy Mama”, the “Manhattan Roll”, and another spicy sushi roll, which we forgot the name.

Grade: Win.

Notes: They were all delicious.
