How To Lose Weight In 7 Days

Note: by following this nutrition protocol, you may lose 1-2 pounds of fat this week, but the reason you’ll be feeling tighter and lighter, is because you are shedding water weight.

Nutrition Tip #1. Eat A High Protein And Fat Breakfast

I want you starting off the day with a breakfast meal high in protein, healthy fat, and fibrous vegetables to keep your energy high and your hunger and cravings low.

That’s right, protein, fat, and fiber are the three key nutrients to fight off snack cravings.

It’s a game changer.

Nutrition Tip #2. Eliminate All Processed Foods

As a Live Leaner, this should be easy because the only time we rock processed foods is on our well earned cheat meal.

But for this week, cheat meals are out.

That’s right, if it comes in a box with ingredients you can’t pronounce, it’s not going in your temple baby.

All foods consumed this week will come from the outer aisles of the grocery store.

Nutrition Tip #3. Consume A Lot Of Water Flushing Vegetables

Consuming a lot of water flushing vegetables will help flush out excess stored water from under your skin.

These water flushing vegetables include:

  • asparagus
  • spinach
  • cucumber

Here’s a little tip.

Did you know that every gram of carbohydrate you consume, your body stores 3 grams of water?

I call this stored water, false fat.

This means the stored water just sits under the skin, making it feel flabby and puffy.

These water flushing vegetables help get rid of that stored water, making you feel tighter and lighter.

Nutrition Tip #4. Consume More Water

Based on my last point, by drinking more water it’ll actually help flush out that stored water as well.

To get rid of the retained water in your body that sits under your skin, you have to drink more water.

You’ll notice you’ll be going to the bathroom more, but you’ll also notice that your skin will feel paper thin, which will really show off the definition in your abs.

Aim for 3-4 liters of water, but drink it evenly throughout the day to limit the amount of pee breaks at night time.

Nutrition Tip #5. Limit Fruit Consumption

This nutrition tip is going to be tough.

Fruit is the Live Leaner’s dessert of choice.

Can Fruit Make You Fat?

It’s nature’s candy that is high in fiber and is so delicious.

But for this week only, we want to dial in our body even more on burning stored body fat for its primary source of energy, not sugar from fruit.

You’ll get plenty of fiber from the vegetables, nuts, and seeds.

Plus, this is only temporary.

I’m sure the mango and pineapple will be delicious at your beach resort.

Nutrition Tip #6. Meal Prep

This one should be easy for you since this is a habit that us Live Leaners are all about.

But for this week, I want you to really dial it in so you have all your meals and snacks prepared, thus leaving no room for slip ups.

If the food is prepared, all that’s left is eating.

And as Live Leaners, we love to eat.

Nutrition Tip #7. No Social Drinks This Week

As a Live Leaner, we enjoy the social life and can have the occasional glass of red wine or vodka water with lemon, but not this week.

This week’s calories are strictly from the foods that I mentioned earlier.

Not calories from the snack foods that typically accompany your social drinks.

These nutrition tips shouldn’t be too hard for you since they’re all pretty close to our current Live Lean lifestyle, that we rock 365 days a year.

The only difference is, this week we’re just dialing it a little bit more to make you look and feel your best, even though you already look awesome.

Even though this video was specifically on nutrition tips, don’t forget to kick up the volume and the intensity of your workouts.
