On today’s vlog episode of Live Lean TV, I’m sharing a day in the life of a fit new dad and entrepreneur, including how my life is a balancing act.
In Live Lean Life Vlog Ep. 018 I share:
I want to share a variation of an homemade banana ice cream recipe found in our Team Live Lean Snacks, Sides, and Desserts cookbook.
Yes, you can make ice cream from bananas.
We call it, “Fro-Ban”.
Get it?
Since frozen yogurt is called “FroYo”, we’re replacing the dairy yogurt with banana, thus making it “Fro-Ban”.
I’ve never heard anybody else say that, so we’re trademarking it right now.
The creamy texture feels just like ice cream or frozen yogurt, without the dairy.
It may feel like a cheat meal, but it is not.
All the ingredients are good for your gains:
I highly recommend you give this creamy chocolate chip banana protein ice cream recipe a try.

Damn that’s good!
Jessica tried it and agrees that it tastes really good.
Even Kyla was smiling as she watched her mommy taste it.
It’s obvious she is excited for the day she gets to eat real food, rather than just mommy’s milk.
If you haven’t heard yet, we have another YouTube channel called Live Live TV Daily Exercises.
Every day we upload a new exercise demonstration video to this channel, from our exercise database.
Each video is approximately 30-60 seconds and includes coaching cues on how to perform the exercise properly.
To date, we have over 1,700 different exercise demonstration videos uploaded to the channel.
Another one of the benefits is we created multiple playlists breaking out each exercise based on:

It’s day two of being back with my boys Rufus Maldonado and Ant for another football inspired workout featuring agility ladder drills.
Even though one circuit of these 4 agility ladder drills only took approximately one minute, the sweat was already coming down my face, and we were all feeling good.

While Rufus was filming me, I messed up one of the drills.
After it happened, I mentioned it will be a good clip to show in the vlog.
Unfortunately, he deleted the clip as soon as it happened.
When I asked him why he deleted it, he said the following:
“You have a lot of loyal followers, so we have to make sure we’re representing you right.”
If you know me, I like to keep it real and share my failures.
This was my response:
“One of the things my followers like about me is, I’m real. If I screw something up, they respect it. There are too many fake people on the Internet.”
After the 4 agility ladder drills, I took the boys through 3 upper body agility ladder exercises.
The guys definitely preferred the agility ladder footwork drills more than the agility ladder upper body exercises.

I was telling the guys that even if you can’t get all the way through the ladder, completing 3 boxes in the agility ladder is better than none.
I told them to do 100 push ups when they get home.
For the last drill, we’re racing against the clock, with this speed and agility cone and mini hurdle drill.
Can you beat my time?

At the end I shared a motivational talk about using structure to create your perfect day.
