How To Make A Super Powered Blueberry Maca Powder Smoothie

On today’s episode of Live Lean TV, I’m sharing my superfood maca powder smoothie recipe to break a fast.

I got back to doing intermittent fasting over a month ago.

It is just going so smooth am I totally transitioned into it.

If you don’t know what intermittent fasting is, here is a video I did on it.

I’m basically doing the 16:8 intermittent fasting protocol, which means I’m following:

  • 16 hours of fasting
  • 8 hours of eating

I have my workout before breaking my fast, so I basically start eating around 1:00 pm.

This means I train fasted.

Then when I get home, I have this power smoothie.

  • 1/2 cup coconut water
  • 1/2 cup canned coconut milk
  • 1/2 cup Water
  • 1 cup frozen blueberries
  • 1 handful Spinach
  • 6 drops liquid stevia
  • 1 tsp ground turmeric
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1 tsp maca powder
  • 2 tbsp cacao chunks
  • 1 tbsp ground flax seeds
  • 1 tbsp Chia Seeds
  • 1 tbsp hemp seeds
  • 1 tsp fish oil
  • 1 serving Protein Powder

  • 1/2 cup Water
  • 1 cup frozen blueberries

Break The Fast Smoothie
Instructions
  1. In a blender add 1/2 cup coconut water, 1/2 cup canned coconut milk, 1/2 cup water, 1 cup frozen blueberries, 6 drops liquid stevia, 1 tsp ground turmeric, 1 tsp cinnamon, 1 tsp maca powder, 2 tbsp cacao chunks, 1 tbsp ground flax seeds, 1 tbsp chia seeds, 1 tbsp hemp seeds, and 1 tsp fish oil.
  2. Add the top to the blender, then blend all the ingredients together until smooth and uniform.
  3. Pour the smoothie into a glass and take a drink.
