On today’s episode of Live Lean TV, we’re discussing which option is better for you, online coaching vs joining a workout app.
Today’s viewer question is from #AskLiveLeanTV Ep. 018.
Here’s today’s viewer question:
Leeuh7 from Instagram asks: I’m highly considering hiring a professional coach to help me start Living Lean. I’ve been on carb cycling macro diet for a month now. I’ve seen great results thus far. Lately I feel as if my metabolism may be slowing down. I need professional guidance. I need you guys. WHAT’S THE NEXT STEP?
Brad: First step is to calm down 😂. There is no need for those caps.
Jess: That’s a great question. I’m so glad to hear you are catching up on all of our past video posts. This is a really good source of information, and a great first step to learn about what we teach.
Hiring an online fitness coach is a really good second step, if you feel like you’re stuck after attempting one of our programs in our app. Hiring a one on one online coach is great for handholding. When you have tried everything, and you’re just on the verge of giving up, that’s when you need to hire an online fitness coach.
Brad: Agreed. Hiring an online fitness coach is great when you need guidance and handholding. If you’ve tried to do it on your own, however you’re frustrated with your lack of results, a coach can really help you dial it in.
Jess: Fitness is a personal responsibility. No one can get you fit. You have to get yourself fit. Sometimes you may need the guidance of a coach to tell you what steps to do, and hold you accountable to do what you said you wanted to do. Online coaching does help with this. However, I think it’s important that everyone should try to complete one of our programs in our app, on their own, before applying to become an online coaching client.
Brad: She does mention nutrition. In particular, carb cycling and macros. Maybe her training is on point and she just needs help with her diet. If you do need specific help with your diet, online coaching is probably the best step.
Jess: Yes. If you don’t know how to figure out your macros, you should watch this video about how to calculate your macros. This is a really helpful video on how to do the math yourself. However, some people don’t like doing math, so they get frustrated and confused by everything. If you just want someone to say, “here’s what you should eat, and here’s how much you should eat”, then online fitness coaching is a good option for you.
Brad: If you want to hire Jessica as your online fitness coach, go book a call here. However, if you haven’t done one of our fitness programs, try our workout and nutrition app here.
Jess: Every single one of our programs comes with information on how to eat. Since nutrition is such an essential part of getting results, we include a nutrition meal plan guide in every single one of our fitness programs. If you do any of our programs, follow the nutrition guide that’s included. Then, if you still feel frustrated, go book a call with me.
