Rapid Abs Circuit To Shred Up Your Six Pack And Lower Abs

On today’s episode of Live Lean TV, I’m taking you into the gym to show you a 15 minute shredded abs workout to shred up your six pack and lower abs.

This rapid abs circuit is fast and is designed to hit all the areas of your abs, at different angles.

It’s time to get your abs shredded.

15 Minute Shredded Abs Workout

Complete exercises A1-A5 in circuit format, without taking any breaks between the exercises within the circuit.

Once you complete the reps of each exercise, immediately move on to the next exercise.

After you finish the A1-A5 circuit, take a 60 second rest, then repeat.

Complete this 15 minute shredded abs workout at the end of your resistance training workout.

If your abs are a really big priority for you, complete this workout at the beginning of your workout.

That way you can hit your abs hard when you have a full tank of energy.

Watch the step-by-step exercise demonstration videos below to learn how to do all the abs exercises in the workout.

Enjoy the rapid ab shred.

A1. Incline Reverse Crunch

Note: In the video, I incorrectly referred to this exercise as the decline leg raise.

Reps: 10

Sets: 3

Rest: No breaks between exercises within the circuit

Tempo: 2010

Coaching cues: the first exercise is the incline reverse crunch. This is a great exercise to hit your lower abs. Make sure you keep your head against the bench while you curl your hips to bring your knees up to your chest. Focus on breathing a lot of air out during the contraction and remember to keep constant tension on your abs rather than allowing them to relax.

A2. Lying Leg Raise

Reps: 10

Sets: 3

Rest: No breaks between exercises within the circuit

Tempo: 2010

Coaching cues: the next exercise is lying leg raises. If you don’t have an incline bench, this is a good alternative exercise for the incline reverse crunch. However, if you do have an incline bench, do both exercises as it hits your abs from different angles. If needed, you can place your hands under your lower back to ensure you are pressing your lower back into the ground at the bottom of the movement. As you raise your legs, force as much air out of your lungs as you can to create a strong contraction and tension in your abs.

A3. Oblique V-Up

Note: in the video, I referred to these as the side crunch.

Reps: 10/side

Sets: 3

Rest: No breaks between exercises within the circuit

Tempo: 1011

Coaching cues: it’s time to work your obliques with an exercise called the oblique v-up. Make sure to focus on creating constant tension in the obliques by breathing as much air out of your lungs as possible during the contraction. After completing all the reps on one side, switch sides and get right back into it. Without taking any breaks.

A4. Kneeling High Cable Crunch

Reps: 10

Sets: 3

Rest: No breaks between exercises within the circuit

Tempo: 1011

Coaching cues: the next exercise is the kneeling high cable crunch. Grab a rope or two handles and attach it to the high cable pulley. Turn your back to the cable machine and grab the rope handles. Tuck your elbows into your sides, then crunch down and forward. Make sure you focus on your breathing and breath out as much air as you can during the contraction. Keep the tension on the abs throughout the range of motion.

A5. Cable Reverse Crunch

Note: in the video, I referred to these as low cable pull-ins.

Reps: 10

Sets: 3

Rest: 60 seconds

Tempo: 1011

Coaching cues: the last exercise of the abs circuit is the cable reverse crunch. Not only does this hit your lower abs, it will also hit your external obliques. Attach both feet into a low cable pulley attachment, then place your hands underneath your lower back. Focus on pressing your lower back into your hands and curl your hips to bring your knees towards your chest.

Nice work, that’s one circuit down.

If you need it, take up to a 60 second break, then repeat this abs circuit 2 more times, for a total of 3 rounds.

However, if you don’t need the break, get right back into it.

That was your 15 minute shredded abs workout.

  1. wewally sier: i would go to a school for architects and look for an under graduate student tht1&#82a7;s doing well in school. He will have a lot of new ideas, will be cheaper and should know how to meet code. His teacher may have to sign off on the design and you would have to pay him a bit but it would be cheaper than an established architect unless you just want a stock plan. Buying one of them and going to a contractor may be cheaper but it is harder to customize
