Instructions
Soak 2 cups of almonds in a bowl filled with 4 cups of water overnight for 8-12 hours, or for at least 4 hours to soften.
Drain the soaking water, then put almonds into a blender with another 4 cups of fresh water.
Blend for at least 2 minutes or until reaching a smooth and creamy consistency, with no chunks.
Use a fine strainer or cheesecloth to strain the almond meal pulp from the liquid milk.
To add optional flavor, add 1 tsp cinnamon and stir with a spoon.
You could also customize the flavor by adding vanilla or salt for more added flavor.
Store in a glass container with a lid.
