Slice the zucchini into the same size as a traditional french fry. To do this, slice the zucchini in half, lengthwise, then slice it in half again, widthwise. Depending on how thick the zucchini is, you may have to slice it lengthwise a few more times, until it is the size of a french fry.
Dry the zucchini fries by dabbing them with a paper towel.
Next, use spices to add flavor to the zucchini fries. Add 1 tbsp of dried oregano and 1 tbsp of cumin to a mixing dish. Cover the mixing dish and shake it together.
Cover a baking sheet with tin foil. Optional: spray avocado oil on the tin foil to reduce the chances of the zucchini fries sticking to the tin foil.
Add the zucchini fries on top of the baking sheet, in a single layer.
Sprinkle the oregano and cumin mixture over the zucchini fries.
There you go. You’re now ready to add them to the pre-heated oven and bake for 15-18 minutes. That’s it.
When the buzzer goes off, remove the zucchini fries from the oven, and check to see if they are baked to perfection.
Once the zucchini fries are looking and smelling good, enjoy!
