1cupfrozen berries mix(strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, and blackberries)
2bananas(using frozen bananas will make it even more creamy)
2servingsvanilla protein powder
1/2tsppeppermint extract(this was the perfect amount of peppermint extract, but you may need more or less)
2smallfresh strawberries(optional: if you want to make the presentation pretty)
2tspcoconut flakes(optional: used as a topping decoration)
Instructions
Add the following ingredients into a blender: 1 cup of canned coconut milk, 1 cup water, 1 cup frozen berries, 2 frozen bananas, 2 servings vanilla protein powder, and 1/4 tsp peppermint extract.
Blend it up.
Pour the candy cane protein shake into 2 glasses. To make it pretty and impress that special somebody you’re with, add one small fresh strawberry to the rim of each glass.
Sprinkle 1 tsp of coconut flakes on the top of each protein shake.
Once you’re ready to give it a taste, drop the fresh strawberry in the protein shake, and take a drink.
