Ingredients
  • 1tsp Coconut OilOr use avocado oil.
  • 26 oz fillets tilapiaor use any white fish such as: halibut, cod, or haddock.
  • 1whole eggorganic when possible.
  • 1/4cup Parmesan cheeseoptional.
  • 1/3cup oats
  • 1tsp Onion powder
  • 1/2tsp dried parsley
  • Dash Black Pepper
  • Dash Sea Salt
Instructions
  1. Pre-heat oven to 375F.
  2. Add tin foil to a baking sheet if you like to be efficient and reduce cleaning time!
  3. Add 1 tsp of coconut oil (or avocado oil) on top, then use a paper towel to evenly grease the tin foil. Set it aside as you make the fish sticks.
  4. Add the tilapia fillets to a cutting board, then cut them up into strips to mimic the shape of a fish stick. Depending on the size of the tilapia fillet, you should be able to get between 3-4 fish sticks from each fillet. This gives you a total of 6-7 fish sticks.
  5. Next up, is to coat the fish sticks with a healthy batter full of seasonings. Add the oats to a blender and blend until it’s fine like flour. Add oats to a dish along with the parmesan cheese, onion powder, dried parsley, and the sea salt and pepper. Cover the dish and shake it up, then set it a side.
  6. Crack and egg into a separate dish and beat it up. Then dip each fish stick fully into the egg, then add it to the batter mixture, coat it with the batter, then add it to the baking sheet.
  7. Once all the fish sticks are completely coated with the batter mixture, add it to your pre-heated oven at 375F, and set the timer for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes is up, they should be smelling delicious. Flip the fish sticks and cook for another 5-6 minutes, then they should be ready to eat.
