Ingredients
  • 1 sweet potato
  • 2tbsp Coconut Oil
  • dash Paprika
  • dash Garlic powder
  • dash himilayan pink salt
  • dash Black Pepper
Instructions
  1. Pre-heat the oven to 450F.
  2. Peel the skin off of the sweet potato.
  3. Slice the sweet potato in half lengthwise, then continue to cut the french fries into 1/4 inch thick and wide strips.
  4. Put some parchment paper down on top of a baking sheet
  5. Add the sweet potato fries to a mixing bowl, then add 2 tbsp of coconut oil, or just enough to coat the sweet potato fries.
  6. For the seasonings and spices, add a dash of paprika, a dash of garlic powder for taste, a dash of Himalayan pink salt to make the fries taste delicious, and lastly add a dash of black pepper.
  7. It’s time to get your hands dirty by mixing the french fries together to make they are completely coated with all the spices and coconut oil.
  8. Add the sweet potato fries to the parchment paper topped baking sheet in a single level. Make sure all the french fries are placed down individually and flat on the baking sheet, rather than on top of one another.
  9. Put the baking sheet into the oven and set the timer for approximately 30 minutes. However, after 15 minutes, take the baking sheet out to stir and flip the french fries. This will make sure the french fries are cooking evenly on all sides, and will avoid burning. Once you stir them up, add the french fries back to the oven to bake for the final 15 minutes. Make sure you are watching the fries throughout the baking process.
  10. After 30 minutes, the tasty and delicious sweet potato french fries should be done.
  11. Remove the french fries from the oven and let it sit for 5-10 minutes to cool down.
  12. If you want, add a little more pink Himalayan salt, then take a bite and yell, “Damn That’s Good!”.
  13. You can also dip these sweet potato french fries into mustard. I prefer mustard over ketchup. However, with all the flavor from the spices, you really don’t need it.
