If you’re trying to build muscle but remain lean, should you really be purposely consuming carbs after your workout?
Yes and that goes back to seeing the big picture.
The main thing for getting lean is building lean muscle.
That’s going to help you burn fat in the long run, and later on.
It’s not so much about what you’re burning at the time, it’s about your total picture.
So yes, that’s why we consume carbs post workout.
