On today’s episode of Live Lean TV, we’re answering a viewer question who asked, should you wash your hair after every workout?
Today’s viewer question is from #AskLiveLeanTV Ep. 021.
Here’s today’s viewer question:
El Michelle on Snapchat says:
I work out five to six times a week, and every time I work out, of course, I must shower, but this is detrimental to my hair because it becomes dry, like split ends, etc. Do you have any suggestions or products you use that protect your hair from being over-washed? I’m a female, by the way.
Jess: The short answer is, I don’t always shampoo my hair after a workout.
Since some workouts are sweatier than others, if it’s not a super sweaty workout, and you’re not drenched in sweat, you can get by without shampooing.
I use different hair products on my hair all the time, since I’m always experimenting.
So I wouldn’t say that I have any one product that I love or recommend, because I’m always trying new things.
