Everybody probably assumes this, so why post about it right?
It’s easy to fall into the trap of the “comparison game”.
You scroll through instagram seeing everyone doing perfect squats, intense workouts, looking incredibly lean in their selfies..
and then you experience the reality of what you’re going through… Days without motivation, struggles and challenges.
Comparing ourselves to others is a surefire recipe for depression. Especially when those “others” are editing out their mess-ups, bad days, and low-points.
Social Media can be dangerous.
On the one hand, you can leave it feeling inspired. Inspired to be better, work harder, and improve yourself.
but for most people, seeing all this perfection online, can leave them feeling low and flawed.
I hope this silly fun video acts as a reminder to you that what you’re seeing online is intended to inspire and motivate you to take action towards your health and fitness goals.
While fitness may not always be easy or glamorous as it looks on Instagram and YouTube, it is truly wonderful when you achieve goals that once seemed impossible.
Never stop improving Live Leaners. One of my goals is to become more transparent and “REAL” online. Let me know in the comments of the YouTube vid what other topics you’d like to see me get real about
