On today’s episode of Live Lean TV, we’re talking about the spin class vs. leg day dilemma, including when to schedule spin with leg day.
Today’s viewer question is from #AskLiveLeanTV Ep. 016.
Here’s today’s viewer question:
kat on Snapchat says: Do spin classes count as “leg days” or should I count my lifting days as “muscle days” and just let cardio be cardio?
I would definitely categorize your spin workouts as cardio.
Even though spin class workouts put a heavy emphasis on contracting your leg muscles, they don’t take as much of a beating compared to a squat day or a deadlift day.
I would recommend you count your spin class as a cardio day, but wouldn’t do it before or after a leg day.
