The Truth Hurts: My Challenge To You

Winter is officially over and summer will soon be here.

So let me ask you, are you where you should be with your fitness and health goals?

If the answer is no, should you blame your:

  • Fitness trainer?
  • Significant other?
  • Boss?
  • Government?

Before sharing the answer, I first want to say that I am truly honored and inspired that you have instilled your confidence in me to train you to Live Lean 365 days a year.

However, as any good trainer should do, I will challenge and call you out, when it’s needed.

As you may know, it is my mission to transform your life to Live Lean.

But it’s time for a reality check and a wake up call.

It’s Time For A Reality Check Live Leaner

It’s also time to be clear on the roles and responsibilities of being a Live Leaner.

More specifically, ask yourself this.

Are you being an active learner when you watch Live Lean TV?

Nothing that I talk about will work, until you do the work.

I promise, when you watch every week, by the end of the year, you will get over 100 game changing ideas to set you up for Living Lean, for the rest of your life.

But it’s your personal responsibility to take notes on the ideas, and more importantly, participate and execute on the ideas that you learning from watching every week.

What fuels me everyday, to keep going with my transformation 1,000,000 mission, is my obsession to help you realize your talents so you can live your best life.

Then once you do, you can pay it forward to your friends and family, and make this world a better place.

So You Maybe Asking, Why Do I Do It?

Why do I work as hard as I do to create all the video posts on YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram?

I do it because it’s what I was put here to do.

After many years of self-reflection, I’ve finally figured out what I am good at, and how I can serve others.

However no ideas will work, unless you have the guts to do the work.

I’m giving you fantastic information, tactics, and incredible day-to-day habits that you can start applying to unleash your willpower to Live Lean

But once again, it’s up to you to participate and be an active learner.

Why You Are Not Getting Results

Living Lean is less about genetics and more about practice.

If you’re not actively pursuing being uncomfortable, you are living a life well below your human potential.

If you’re not scared a lot, you’re not progressing much.

You Need To Go After The Discomfort

Everything in your life gets better when you go to the edges of your potential.

This discomfort could be in the gym or in the kitchen.

Get outside of your comfort.

And don’t think that since I’m leading the Live Lean Nation, I’m any different than you.

I feel the discomfort too.

But the difference is, I’m committed to embracing it.

I No Longer Cling To Safety

You have to understand, before creating Live Lean TV, I was afraid to:

  • be in front of the camera
  • go to the gym
  • try cooking

Then I just decided that in order to change, I have to do different things.

This reminds me of the following saying.

The seduction of safety is more dangerous than the perception of uncertainty.

In other words, go to the places where your fear lies because that’s where your growth lies.

The things you’re most resisting, is what you need to be doing right now.

So if you’re afraid to:

  • to talk on camera
  • go to the gym
  • ask a girl out on a date

That’s exactly what you need to be doing.

Bottom Line On Why You Are Not Getting Results From Live Lean TV

Living Lean is your responsibility.

It’s not the responsibility of:

  • your significant other
  • the government
  • your personal trainer
  • your nutrition coach

It’s your responsibility to be great

So invest your time and effort into the number one asset you have.

Your health.

You have a personal obligation to you and your family to be the best human being possible.

Start with your health.

That’s it.

  1. Struggling to lose that stubborn belly fat. Any advice? My diet is
protein/fat foods all week except a chest meal on Sundays. Seems like I hit
    a plateu at 150lbs.

  2. This is quite an inspiring video……. thank you so much Brad. I feel
uncomfortable jogging outside because I feel like people look at me and
hear me breathe loudly but today I went running anyway…

  3. Thank you, Brad. I’m really upset with myself, right now. After getting
seriously lean, which took a lot of long hard work, I gained 10 lbs of fat
in three weeks. I’ve been really unfulfilled in other areas of my life, and
compensated by overeating — good food. Now, I’ve got to struggle to get
back my gains instead of struggling to maintain or progress my muscle
    development. Very disappointing.
