Why Fitness Can Transform All Areas Of Your Life: Motivational Minute Ep. 013

On today’s episode of Live Lean TV, I’m sharing a personal motivational talk called, Transform Your Body, Transform All Areas Of Your Life.

This is episode 013 in my Motivational Minute series.

In last week’s motivational minute episode titled: Find Your Why: The Key To A Sustainable Health And Fitness Transformation, we talked about getting clear on “your why”.

I also shared a personal story about my struggles with self-confidence, and a breaking point that finally made me take responsibility and take the necessary action to transform my body.

From that day on, I was clear about “my why”.

My Physical Transformation Sparked My New Career

That led me to invest in an online fitness coach and then follow his plan to a T.

After about six months, my friends and co-workers started to not only notice how much my body changed, but more importantly, how much more confident I was in everyday situations.

Then after about one to two years of training, complete strangers at the gym even stopped me in the locker room saying:

“Dude, I see that you’re lean and muscular in the spring, in the summer, in the fall, and even in the winter. How do you stay lean all year long?”

Since I kept getting asked that question over and over again, a light bulb finally went off in my head.

Leaving My Corporate Job To Pursue My Higher Purpose

At the time I was working a full-time job in corporate marketing, however these consistent questions about my physique transformation made me realize I had a higher purpose in life.

Since there was so much BS in the fitness industry about short-term and unsustainable workout and diet trends, I realized that I needed to share my story about how I discovered a way to make health and fitness sustainable 365 days a year, and ultimately help people overcome their self-confidence issues, by first transforming their body.

After getting my training and nutrition certifications, I turned on the camera and filmed my first super awkward video on how to make lemon water, and then the rest is history.

Invest In Yourself, Put In The Work, And Go For It

The point is, I invested in a coach, I put in the work, and I applied something to my life that eventually changed my path from selling beer and lottery tickets, to helping people become more confident and healthy in all areas of their life.

I discovered that my purpose in life was to educate, motivate, and inspire people that transforming your body is the gateway, to building the necessary self-confidence to empower yourself in all areas of your life.

If you feel lost in life or you feel lost in your career, go to work on your body and your health.

This is not to say that you’ll create a fitness media company like I did, however by transforming your body, it’ll give you the confidence that it is possible to transform in every aspect of your life.

When you finally become clear on your why and your purpose, your daily decisions and actions become much easier to make.

Then everything goes on autopilot for you.
