“On Monday, I had another gall bladder attack, which was the worst I’ve ever had. I spent two days in the hospital for blood work. My results showed that my liver function was high. Once again, steak and eggs with olive oil was the culprit. My doctor said the paleo diet does not work for me, and is not right for everyone. She said my body needs carbohydrates from grains, as well as dairy. I know you are not doctors, but what do you think? Do you believe the paleo diet does not work for some people?”

Question #6: Why Do I Not Crave Dairy Queen Blizzards Anymore?

Yes, that is correct.

Honestly, I haven’t had a Dairy Queen Blizzard in years.

If you are an old school viewer of our Live Lean TV YouTube channel, you would know that I used to love Dairy Queen Blizzards.

When it came to my cheat meals, Dairy Queen blizzards and pizza were hand-in-hand.

I would like to tell a story about a time when I had my last one, however I don’t know what made me make the decision to all of a sudden stop loving them.

I think the combination of my dairy intolerance and the overwhelming amount of sugar really started to affect me.

Even though I still like how they taste, it just instantly hits me, and makes me feel really gross, after eating it.

Plus, when you read the ingredients list on Dairy Queen blizzards, it quickly becomes less appealing.

Ultimately the overload of sugar and dairy makes me feel gross.

Based on this, as a grown up, I made the decision that Dairy Queen blizzards are not happening for me anymore.
